He has won the British, Irish, Scottish, Welsh and Australian Grand Nationals - not to mention the Nakayama Grand Jump in Japan - and Ruby Walsh now has sights set on the American Grand National.

Walsh partners favourite Rawnaq at Far Hills in New Jersey on Saturday, when rivals include the British-trained pair Days Of Heaven and Sharp Rise in a $350,000 race formerly run as the Breeders' Cup Chase and which in reality is a two-mile-five-furlong hurdle contest.

Rawnaq made his American debut in the race last year when a close third to the ex-Nicky Henderson-trained Dawalan, and he has since lowered the colours of the Willie Mullins-trained pair Shaneshill and Nichols Canyon in the Grade 1 Iroquois Hurdle.
