Tonight's racing: three runners who catch the eye at Kempton
Kempton hosts tonight's evening action with racing starting at 5.15. Here are three who could be worth watching . . .
Mount Ararat
5.45 Kempton
Karl Burke's four-year-old was hugely disappointing at on his seasonal bow at Wolverhampton but shaped like a horse with a huge future last season. He is still a maiden after four runs but was only beaten a length in a Listed contest in France and, as a son of Sea The Stars, further progression is expected this year.
This son of Dubawi finally got off the mark on his eighth attempt and seems capable of further improvement. His win at Wolverhampton a month ago was encouraging and he is only rated 1lb higher today. He has a decent pedigree and can take another step forward.
A 50-1 winner at Chelmsford in September, David Loughnane's runner looks to have an ideal opportunity to record a third win in the finale. He has run consistently without winning and is dropped another 1lb following a good fourth at Newcastle. He has finished first and third on his visits to this track and can go well again.
