Dundalk returns this evening with action under the floodlights and it is a double helping of all-weather fare with a meeting at Newcastle as well. Here are three runners it could be worth noting.

Alexis Carrington
6.20 Newcastle

On her handicap debut, it would not be a huge surprise if this filly took her form to a new level for John Quinn.

She has hinted at ability, including last time out at the track when sixth behind the useful Midi. That looked a decent novice and, now in calmer waters off a mark of 58, Alexis Carrington might be able to make her mark.

Empire Line
7.30 Dundalk

This newcomer certainly looks the part on pedigree and might well be the answer to the juvenile maiden for Fozzy Stack.

Favourite Coral Beach sets a fair standard but is becoming exposed, while Stack does well with his juveniles at Dundalk, operating at a 33 per cent strike-rate this season (six from 18).

Power Link
8.20 Newcastle

There was money around earlier in the day for James Tate's juvenile, who has shaped like he could be a potential improver in handicap company.

Seven furlongs seemed to stretch the son of Data Link last time out as he faded late on. Dropping back to a stiffer six could help him in that regard as Tate bids to maintain his 100 per cent strike-rate at the course with juveniles this season (two from two).
