Three horses it could pay to watch at Chelmsford this evening
This evening's action comes from Chelmsford, with a seven-race card getting underway at 5.45pm. Here are three horses to look out for.
The 8.15 looks a cracker between last time out course and distance winners Good Business and Mythical Spirit.
On the one hand you have Good Business, who is bidding for a course and distance hat-trick. She has gone up another 7lb for a three-length victory last time - but the majority of that is offset by his rider William Cox's useful 5lb claim.
On the other you have Mythical Spirit, who is just 3lb higher for her three-quarter-length success. There does not look to be much in it, but Good Business was the better of the two on the clock and looks the one to beat.
Jamie Osborne's Kion has to give weight away all around and failed to do just that at Wolverhampton five days ago, but despite this being a bigger field it lacks the same quality.
Favourite Jungle Room is yet to win and has been off the track for 241 days, which makes him vulnerable to a race-fit rival with a more solid level of form.
Ann Duffield has booked Joe Fanning for her four-year-old filly and that would be reason enough to be interested as the pair are two from nine together this season (22 per cent strike-rate). But throw in the fact Mimic's Memory is 3lb lower than her last winning mark, has hit the frame on her last two starts, is due to go up 2lb in future and is the only horse on the card top-rated on both Topspeed figures and Racing Post Ratings and you have a horse really worth watching.
