If truth be told, we couldn't care less where the winners come from, could we? Whether they are trained in Closutton, Cullentra, Ditcheat, Dublin or Doncaster, it's all the one to me and I suspect it's the same for you too.

But there is a friendly rivalry to renew and, whether we like it or not, much of the narrative this week will be about Great Britain v Ireland and if any inroads can be made into the 23-5 scoreline from 2021.

If the hosts are to have any chance of putting up a fight, you suspect they need to score the first goal. The Supreme is a swing state – Nicky's two against Willie's three.
