• BIG FREEZE:Frozen peas have helped to get RSA Chase favourite Champ back on track after his fall at Cheltenham on New Year's Day, with trainer Nicky Henderson pleased to be able to get a saddle back on him on Saturday morning.

• TOLWORTH HURDLE: Fiddlerontheroof cleared away from a useful-looking field to win the Unibet Tolworth Novices' Hurdle for trainer Colin Tizzard, who has now won three of the last four editions of the Grade 1 contest.

• EYES ON THE FESTIVAL: Chris Richardson says it is all about Cheltenham for Cheveley Park Stud's potential superstar Envoi Allen, as the six-year-old prepares for his latest test in the Grade 1 Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle.

• ASCOT REGRETS: Nicky Henderson has admitted it was a mistake to run Altior at Ascot in November, and says the crack chaser "wasn't fit enough" for his famous clash with Cyrname.
