After only three wins from 19 starts, The Happy Prince posted a career-best performance on his most recent appearance when beaten a short head in the Group 2 Saint Gobain Weber Park Stakes at Doncaster 15 days ago.

On Sunday the late-maturing Aidan O'Brien-trained four-year-old drops back a furlong in trip as he seeks a first Pattern-race success against eight rivals.
