Regular winner Ted’s Brother is set to join the 100 Club when he tackles the 1m4f handicap (7.15) at Wolverhampton on Saturday night.

Now with Laura Morgan, the nine-year-old won ten races for previous trainer Richard Guest, all on turf.

However, he finished runner-up over course and distance in March under Shane Kelly, who is again in the saddle, and Morgan believes she has found a good opportunity for the gelding.

“He’s a bit of an old legend,” she said on Friday. “He’s run only eight times for me but has been placed on five of those occasions, and he should have a great chance at Wolverhampton."

Morgan, now based back at her family home, Foxfield Stud, Waltham on the Wolds, near Melton Mowbray, having moved from Grantham, added: "It’s his first run from our new yard and he goes to Wolverhampton in great form. He’s a real fun horse to have and has already done me proud.”

Ted’s Brother returns from a three-month absence, having been off the track since finishing fifth to Diamonds A Dancing at Nottingham in July.

His versatility in terms of distance has enabled him to win over seven furlongs and finish third over a mile and six furlongs.
