Middle Park Stakes fifth Koropick will be joined by three useful fillies in a strong British challenge for the Group 2 Criterium De Maisons-Laffitte (1.45).

However a fifth British contender, who might well have started favourite, has not travelled to France. Following unsatisfactory blood tests Bryan Smart has withdrawn his unbeaten Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes winner Delectation, whom he fancied to take the prize back to Yorkshire for a remarkable sixth occasion this millennium.

Koropick found the ground plenty quick enough at Newmarket and so Palmer is hoping for an even better showing on softish going at Maisons-Laffitte.
