Shutter Speed gets Musidora go-ahead despite rain
John Gosden: left decision lateCredit: Edward Whitaker
Shutter Speed will run in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes after trainer John Gosden decided conditions would be suitable for her.
The trainer had expressed concerns that the ground would be too soft for the filly, the short-priced favourite for the Group 3, following rain.
The ground was first changed from good to soft, good in places to good to soft, soft in places at around 12.50pm before the description was updated to soft.
But Gosden said: "It's the first day of the meeting and still fresh ground so we'll go ahead and run her."
The trainer did, however, rule favourite Chessman out of the 7f handicap (4.35) due to the ground.
