'She's got a bit of class' - can Amo filly make winning debut?

Dark Jade, a half-brother to four winners including Fair Eva, who was once officially rated 110 when trained by Roger Charlton, may be capable of taking a significant step forward from his Ffos Las debut.

A seemingly unfancied 16-1 shot that night, the gelded grey was noted doing all his best work at the finish when fourth to Once More For Luck.

The winner has since twice performed with credit in stronger company, while the runner-up, Immortal Beauty, went on to win at Newmarket and Lingfield.

Roger Varian’s debutant Sakheer is entered in the Group 1 Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes as well as the Mill Reef.

A mature market will clearly reveal more about what is expected first time out, a comment which applies equally to Richard Hannon’s Magical Sunset, who holds several big-race entries, including the Group 1 Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes.

She's a really nice filly who we've taken our time with. We're looking forward to getting her started, she's done enough work to do herself justice on her debut and hopefully she'll run with some promise. She's just taken slightly longer to mature but she's always been a nice model, she's a good mover and she's got a bit of class and quality about her.
