In a field littered with well-bred maiden winners looking to launch dreams of Classic success, the name Frosty stands out – and not just because she carries the hopes of Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore.

Frosty is a sister to four-time Group 1 winner Winter and, like her illustrious sibling, shed her maiden tag on the all-weather at Dundalk.

On looks she will be hard to miss as well – she is almost white – but for punters the question will be whether she is streetwise enough to handle the demands of the Rowley Mile just two weeks after showing signs of greenness on her winning debut.

O'Brien said: "She won on her debut at Dundalk two weeks ago and, while we'd have preferred her to have more experience for this race, she should learn a lot from it and come on from it."

Gosden hopes surface will help Angel's

Angel's Hideaway has a fair bit more experience than most of her rivals and unsurprisingly has already run to a level of form far superior to any of them.

She carries a 3lb penalty for her Group 3 win in the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot and is dropping back to that level, having run down the field in the Lowther and Cheveley Park over six furlongs.

Before her Ascot success she was in the process of running a big race behind Pretty Pollyanna in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes before throwing her chance away when swerving into the path of Main Edition and La Pelosa.

Trainer John Gosden believes the ground was against Angel's Hideaway last time and will be hoping Robert Havlin can find the right path.

"She was rather wheel spinning when running in the Cheveley Park last time, when they were racing on the far track," said Gosden.

"Hopefully the surface will be a bit better on the new strip close to the stands and she'd have an each-way chance."

No hiding Haggas belief in Message

The Haydock rain prevented William Haggas from giving Hidden Message her intended first start but the daughter of Scat Daddy made no mistake when sent to Yarmouth a fortnight later, scooting nearly four lengths clear of previous winner Promote in a well-contested novice stakes.

With an all-American pedigree her preference for good ground is no great surprise and Haggas is looking forward to getting Hidden Message out on the Rowley Mile.

"Her win wasn’t really a surprise to me and she's a nice filly," said Haggas.

"She's a little bit hot but we like her and she showed a good turn of foot at Yarmouth. This is a natural step up from that and we’ll see where we are. I think she'll enjoy the ground and she's quite capable of running a good race."
