French racing returns to its regular haunts around Paris today after its summer sojourn in Deauville, with Hugo Palmer one of three British trainers targeting Chantilly's two pattern races this afternoon.

Afandem crosses the Channel again to tackle the Group 3 Prix d’Arenberg over five furlongs, having won a Vichy Listed race in July.

Last time out the Vale Of York colt came within a head of successfully conceding 3lb to Big Time Baby in the Julia Graves Roses Stakes at York.
