Red-hot Champion Bumper form continues to boost standing of Envoi Allen
Envoi Allen has impressed in two hurdling wins this season and bids for back-to-back Grade 1 wins at Naas on Sunday, but the form of his Champion Bumper victory has similarly boosted his reputation.
It is turning into a race for the ages, as the first five home have won ten of their 13 subsequent starts, three of which have come at Grade 1 level.
Further down the field Master Debonair was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles at Ascot in December, while Ask For Glory looked a nice hurdling prospect when behind Son Of Camas at Newbury in November.
Let's take a look at the exploits of the first five . . .

Since Cheltenham: two starts, two wins, one at Grade 1 level
Got to within a length of Envoi Allen at Cheltenham and looked good when winning a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in November. Something appeared amiss next time at Leopardstown.
Since Cheltenham: two starts, one win

Since Cheltenham: three starts, three wins, two Grade 2s, one Grade 1
AbacadabrasGordon Elliott
Second in Grade 2 Punchestown bumper after Cheltenham before winning first two hurdle starts this season. Narrowly behind Envoi Allen at Fairyhouse before winning first Grade 1 at Leopardstown.
Since Cheltenham: five starts, three wins, one Grade 3, one Grade 1
The Glancing Queen Alan King
A staying-on fifth after finding trouble in running at Cheltenham, she was then dominant in a Grade 2 Aintree bumper next time. Yet to make hurdles debut.
