Pointers, going and market movers on a fabulous Friday of racing
Day four of the Goodwood festival kicks off with the Group 3 Theo Fennell Oak Tree Stakes (1.50), where Jubiloso heads the market.
All eyes will be on the blink-and-you-miss-it Group 2 King George Qatar Stakes (3.35) where hot favourite Battaash makes his reappearance at a track where he boasts an unbeaten record.
There's more Group 3 action including the competitive Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes 2.25, although the well-fancied King Ottokar and Turgenev are non-runners. There is also the 20-runner Unibet Golden Mile (3.00) to look forward to.
Elsewhere, Galway hosts the fifth day of its mixed-codes meeting,
Bangor stages jump racing, and Wolverhampton provides the all-weather action.
Evening racing comes from Bath, Musselburgh and Newmarket, where William Buick makes his return to riding, he has been out of action since May due to a head injury.

Final thought
Battaash should be able to win the King George Qatar Stakes with relative ease and the odds are reflective of that. It might be worth, however, keeping one eye on the French raider Big Brothers Pride who was very impressive when making all in a Group 3 at Chantilly last time out.
