Filly factor for Oxx and Harrington

John Oxx is represented by three-race maiden, Miss Zizi, who produced easily her best effort on her most recent start when losing out to Threeandfourpence by a short head over Sunday's trip at Fairyhouse last month.

Oxx said of the daughter of Dandy Man: "She's made steady improvement with each race and it was a good run at Fairyhouse last time.

"We decided when she got a handicap mark of 77 to have a go at this good prize instead of waiting to run her in a maiden."

Another satisfied with her filly's rating is Jessica Harrington who runs Cristale, a winner at the third attempt when scoring at Dundalk last month.

"Cristale is a filly who has strengthened up well and we were delighted with her win at Dundalk. She's on a nice mark and she's come on since her win," Harrington said of Colm O'Donoghue's mount.

Blinkers on to sharpen up Tango

The James Nash-trained T For Tango, a course winner over five furlongs early in the season, returns from a two-month break and will have 7lb claimer Gearoid Brouder on board for the first time.

Nash said: "We gelded T For Tango after his disappointing run at the Curragh in August. On his early season form he could be well in.

"He's in good form and we're putting blinkers on to sharpen him."

Weld: Fille Du Septembre is a nice type

The old firm of Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen team up with Fille Du Septembre, a maiden winner over the minimum trip on her debut at Dundalk in March.

Having failed to reach the first three in Group 3 events on her two subsequent starts, the Moyglare Stud-owned filly will be making her nursery debut.

Weld said: "Fille Du Septembre is a nice type and very well.

"The ground is a bit of a concern though and we don't want to see any more rain."

O'Brien saddles two in bid for prize

Successful on Snow Queen in the event in 2012, Joseph O'Brien is two-handed with Band Of Outlaws, last seen when winning a 7f maiden at Limerick in June, and Damselfly, winner of a maiden over the minimum trip at Down Royal.

Wayne Lordan, who rides Band Of Outlaws, will be bidding for his third win in the event in the last seven years.

O'Brien said: "Band Of Outlaws had a setback after his win at Limerick and is ready to start back. We're happy with him.

"Damselfly has been quite consistent and, hopefully, claiming 10lb will help her chance."

Trained by Kevin Prendergast when he won over five furlongs at this track early in the season, Moonlight Bay returns from a 147-day absence for his first start for Ger Lyons and Clipper Logistics Ltd.
