One key runner to note in each of ITV's six races on day two of Royal Ascot

First Receiver
1.50 Royal Ascot
Hampton Court Stakes (Group 3), 1m2f

The Queen is not in attendance at Royal Ascot this year but she could watch a winner from home if First Receiver backs up on the enormous potential he showed when winning a maiden by seven lengths at Kempton this month.

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained three-year-old son of New Approach could be set to take high rank in the Classic generation if he passes this Group 3 test.

Kipps
2.25 Royal Ascot
King George V Stakes (Handicap), 1m4f

David Probert recently passed 1,000 winners in Britain and could make his mark on the big stage with King George V Handicap contender Kipps.

The three-year-old won at Lingfield in December and was narrowly denied on his handicap debut at Haydock this month. He is handily drawn in stall 12, with the last nine winners of this race all drawn in stall eight or higher.

3.00 Royal Ascot
Prince of Wales's Stakes (Group 1), 1m2f

Wednesday's only Group 1 is a fascinating clash in the Prince of Wales's Stakes, as last season's Juddmonte International winner Japan takes on Barney Roy, Headman and Addeybb in a seven-runner field.

No trainer has had success in recent years at Royal Ascot quite like Aidan O'Brien and Japan looks one of his biggest hopes of the week.

Japan is still relatively lightly raced after nine starts and there could be more to come from one of last season's best three-year-olds, although there is a slight question mark about his record first time up.

Afaak
3.35 Royal Ascot
Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap), 1m

The Royal Hunt Cup has a slightly reduced field this year but it is still a devilishly difficult puzzle to solve and Afaak at least has proven ability in this race.

The Charlie Hills-trained six-year-old, who was last seen on his travels in Bahrain, is only 3lb higher than for last year's Hunt Cup win, a rise negated by Cieren Fallon's 3lb claim.

Chief Little Hawk
4.10 Royal Ascot
Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed), 5f

The first two-year-old race of a reordered Royal Ascot is the Windsor Castle Stakes, which has been won by the likes of Washington DC and Soldier's Call in recent years.

Due to the delayed start to the Flat season, the two-year-old form is particularly unknown, but Chief Little Hawk was a dominant winner for O'Brien at Navan.

Normal improvement on that winning debut could provide Air Force Blue with a big win as a first-season sire.

Ranch Hand
4.40 Royal Ascot
Copper Horse Handicap, 1m6f

The Copper Horse Handicap is an additional race to the normal Royal Ascot programme and could be an opportunity for Ranch Hand to build on Andrew Balding's fine start to the season.

It is also another opportunity for Probert, who has not partnered the four-year-old since his fifth in last year's Lingfield Derby Trial.

The 2m2f of the Cesarewitch proved beyond him but he won his only start over this trip at Haydock in September.
