One key runner for each of the ITV races at Cheltenham and Doncaster on Saturday
Coole Cody
1.50 Cheltenham
Caspian Caviar Gold Cup Handicap Chase, 2m4½f
Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Coole Cody bids to become just the fourth horse to win both of Cheltenham's big autumn chases in the same season and the first since Exotic Dancer completed the rare double in 2006. A host of rivals from the November showpiece reoppose Evan Williams' stable star, with third-placed Al Dancer taking him on again as does last-fence faller Saint Sonnet. His trainer Paul Nicholls also runs Master Tommytucker and Southfield Stone in a race he has won four times in the last decade.
Ofalltheginjoints
2.05 Doncaster
bet365 December Novices' Chase (Grade 2), 3m
Colin Tizzard's novice chasing team took a blow last week when The Big Breakaway was turned over at Exeter, but fellow Devon scorer Ofalltheginjoints bids to give Tizzard a maiden victory in this Grade 2 event. However, the trainer is yet to saddle a winner at Doncaster from ten runners prior to today and faces a tough task, with three other winning chasers and a successful point-to-pointer among the line up for the contest.
Took The Lot
2.25 Cheltenham
Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2), 3m
Nigel Twiston-Davies has won this staying event three times in the last six years and looks to have a live chance of adding another victory in this contest with Took The Lot, whose last two impressive victories at Bangor have merited a step up in class. However, the Grade 2 event has a wide open look to it, with the field having won 11 times already between them this season.
Glorious Zoff
2.40 Doncaster
bet365 Summit Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m½f
Gordon Elliott has a stranglehold of Triumph Hurdle hopes with four of the first five in the betting hailing from his yard and Glorious Zoff bids to become another candidate for the Cullentra handler. The three-year-old won by 12 lengths at Sligo two starts ago, but must bounce back from his most recent effort when he was turned over at short-odds at Sedgefield.

Goshen
3.00 Cheltenham
Unibet International Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m1f
All eyes will be on Goshen, who was in the process of bolting up in the JCB Triumph Hurdle over this course and distance in March only to unseat Jamie Moore after the final flight. Having missed some intended assignments for his return, he makes his belated seasonal jumps return on his Champion Hurdle trail. It will be no walk in the park however, with last year's 1-2-3 Call Me Lord, Ballyandy and Ch'tibello all back to try again.
Give Me A Copper
3.15 Doncaster
bet365 Handicap Chase, 3m
The fragile Give Me A Copper, who won last season's Badger Beers Trophy, bids to enhance his Grand National claims in this Class 2 contest. The ten-year-old makes his first appearance since finishing seventh in a valuable contest at Ascot last December, having had a wind operation subsequently. Jersey Bean, who is a rejuvenated horse this term, is out to complete a hat-trick of victories and looks the main danger.
Close Brothers Mares' Handicap Hurdle, 2m4½f
Eglantine Du Seuil returns to the scene of her greatest triumph when a shock winner of the mares' novice hurdle at the 2019 festival and bids to register her first victory since then and for new trainer Paul Nicholls. She has plenty to find against The White Mouse, who returned from a 595-day break to win at Wincanton last month.
