O'Brien saddles two in feature but Harrington confident over her chance

On a day when Aidan O'Brien launches big-race challenges in Britain and Australia, Ireland's multiple champion trainer will be represented by maiden winners Fightfortheroses and Sir Erec in Limerick's seven-runner feature which remembers one of Ireland's greatest jockeys.

"Fightfortheroses won his maiden nicely at Naas and we've been happy with him since. He gets the trip while Sir Erec should be suited by the step up in distance," said O'Brien who last won the event with Bondi Beach two years ago.

The King, who produced a career best on his most recent start when third behind Rostropovich in a Group 3 over a similar trip at Leopardstown four weeks ago, represents the Jessica Harrington-Colm O'Donoghue combination.

Harrington said: "He's been going up the ratings without winning this year. He's in good form and will have ease in the ground which he likes and which he hasn't had so far this season. We're hoping he'll win."

The Dermot Weld-trained Jaega is blinkered for the first-time and will appreciate any further ease in the ground which was described as "good to yielding" on Friday. She has shown her best form in testing conditions and will be out to improve on her most recent effort at Gowran three weeks ago when she was returning from a summer break.

Never out of the first four in six attempts this year, the Jim Bolger-trained five-year-old Twilight Payment will be dropping in distance in his bid to secure a third success at Listed level.

The line-up also includes the Michael Mulvany-trained On The Go Again, a winner at this level at Leopardstown early in the season and also the winner of this year's Irish Lincolnshire.
