Raffle Prize is Sunday's big market mover in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas with punters siding with the talented filly who is out to continue the red-hot form of the Mark Johnston team.

The daughter of Slade Power was a classy juvenile, having won the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot before two second-placed efforts at Group 1 level.

But with Johnston having sent out out 12 winners since racing resumed – operating with an impressive 24 per cent strike-rate –many are expecting improvement from Raffle Prize, who has been shortened from 11-1 into 8-1 this morning.

Since Kameko's win on Saturday, punters have also backed Oisin Murphy to complete a famous Guineas double, with Millisle now challenging for favouritism with Quadrilateral for Sunday's Qipco 1,000 Guineas (3.35).

The champion jockey rode his first domestic Classic winner aboard Kameko on Saturday and Murphy's mount has seen strong market support since, shortening from 4-1 into 3-1. The daughter of Starspangledbanner has drifted out to 7-2 this morning.

The unbeaten Quadrilateral still heads the betting for the fillies' Classic, with Roger Charlton's runner a general 11-4 chance. Love, Aidan O'Brien's sole representative, is a 4-1 shot.

There has been considerable support for the John Gosden-trained Fanny Logan, a hot favourite for the Betway Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock.

A five-time winner last season, she sets the standard in the Group 3 event and has been shortened from 2-1 yesterday to 6-5.

There are four non-runners in Haydock's featuring Betway Brigadier Gerard Stakes, most notably the highly touted Bangkok. Pivoine, Spotify and Walkinthesand are also absentees, leaving just five runners.

Meanwhile Mubtasim and Lord of The Lodge will not run in the Spring Trophy due to the going, which is currently described as good to soft.

The ground at Newmarket is currently good, with showers forecast throughout the afternoon.

There are three meetings scheduled for Sunday, Haydock starts at 12.55 followed by Lingfield (1.05) and Newmarket (1.15).
