Can anything stop Enable? Is there a betting angle?
David Baxter, reporter When you get to this level the form is there for all to see. Enable should be favourite, though I don’t want to back her. If for any reason Crystal Ocean drifted a touch I would probably get involved as you are virtually guaranteed a good run for your money and Sir Michael Stoute has an excellent record in the King George.
Mike Cattermole, commentator If Enable brings her A-game to Ascot, then it should be good enough but there is no doubt Crystal Ocean is at the height of his powers and is capable of giving her a race – the various form lines tell you that. The great thing is you know they are trained by masters and will be prepared to the minute. The market has Enable too short for me, even though I think she will do it. The each-way value may be Waldgeist who always runs his race.
Ray Cochrane, Dettori's riding agent It’s very doubtful. A bit of bad luck might get her beat but I can’t really see it. Crystal Ocean will take a bit of beating but she’s already beaten him in the September Stakes. She’s got no holes and the jockey and stable are flying. From a betting point of view I’d love to see her turn even money!
