Kerrin McEvoy has been making plenty of headlines during the Spring Carnival and is hoping his purple patch can extend into Australia's biggest week, starting at Flemington on Saturday.

The jockey landed the Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley last weekend and has teamed up with Godolphin and Charlie Appleby to claim the Geelong Cup and Bendigo Cup with Qewy and Francis Of Assisi respectively.
