Evanna McCutcheon is quietly confident her stable star Maarek can sign off for the season with a bold show at Nottingham on Wednesday afternoon in the 5f handicap and has quashed talk of retirement for the veteran sprinter.
“I rode him out yesterday morning and he is in good form. This will be his last run of the season but retirement is not on the agenda for him,” McCutcheon said.
