Landseer charged with continuing O'Brien strangehold on valuable event

Aidan O’Brien has dominated Listowel’s feature nursery in recent seasons, winning four of the last six runnings, and the Ballydoyle maestro on Monday relies on recent Roscommon maiden scorer Sir Edwin Landseer in a bid to continue his stranglehold on the €50,000 contest.
Sir Edwin Landseer had been placed on his first three starts before winning at Roscommon over 7½f and O’Brien will be hoping that, now the Galileo colt has got his head in front, he may be capable of landing back-to-back wins stepped up to a mile for the first time under Ana O’Brien.
