Kings Fete, who is starting to make up for lost time after being injured behind Kingston Hill in the 2014 St Leger, seems sure to start a warm favourite for this five-runner Group 3.

After defeats at Goodwood (Listed race) and Royal Ascot (third to Kinema in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes), the five-year-old returned to the winner’s enclosure with a fluent three-quarters of a length dismissal of Ayrad in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes at Goodwood a fortnight ago, and appears to have been found another excellent opportunity.
