Fireglow would appear to hold the key to the race, not only on the basis of her fourth to Minding in the 1,000 Guineas but also for her runner-up spot behind So Mi Dar over course and distance in the Musidora.

A repeat of either of those performances, allied to the weight-for-age factor, would make her difficult to beat, although subsequent disappointing efforts in the Coronation Stakes and when dropped in class for the Group 3 Prix Chloe 12 days ago might suggest there is not such a gulf back to her rivals.
