York Ebor Thursday: ITV Racing tips
Our Spotlight experts select their best bets for day two of the York Ebor festival
Sky Bet Lowther Stakes, Group 2, 6f
Sandrine extended her unbeaten record to three when she landed the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket in July and heads the betting for trainer Andrew Balding and David Probert.
Hello You finished third behind Sandrine last time but is one of the fancied runners alongside Zain Claudette, the mount of Ray Dawson.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: OUTSIDE WORLD
Made all for 4l success over C&D last time; dam won this race in 2007; interesting
Paul Kealy's banker for day two of the York Ebor festival
Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes, 6f
Richard Hannon won the last two runnings of this contest with Mums/7 Tipple and Happy Romance, who subsequently landed the Hackwood Stakes, and appears to have a leading chance again with Listed winner System.
The two-year-old finished fifth in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes at Ascot last time and Pat Dobbs takes the ride.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: OH HERBERTS REIGN
Close second in 7f maiden at Newbury last week; likely to rate higher still; interesting
Clipper Logistics Handicap, 1m
Shadwell landed this competitive handicap last season and rely on Maydanny, winner of the Unibet Mile at Glorious Goodwood last time.
However, the market might be headed by La Trinidad, who won the John Smith's Racing Handicap at this track under Rowan Scott.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ORBAAN
Good 5th in Lincoln; got no sort of run at Goodwood latest; yard won 2 of last 8 runnings
The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' tip at York on Thursday afternoon
Darley Yorkshire Oaks, Group 1, 1m4f
Snowfall has been a revelation this season, winning the Musidora and the Cazoo Oaks at Epsom before following up in the Irish Oaks last time, and she is likely to be sent off an odds-on favourite at York.
But she will face some talented opposition, most notably Wonderful Tonight, an Arc hopeful who won the Lillie Langtry Stakes when last seen.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: SNOWFALL
Routed her opponents in the Oaks at Epsom and Irish Oaks on good ground at the Curragh
