ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the seven races on ITV on Saturday
1.50 Ascot
Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes, 6f, Group 3
System caused a surprise when taking the Empress Fillies' Stakes at odds of 22-1 and is out to prove that was no fluke in a rematch with second-place Desert Dreamer, who has run well at Group 2 level since. Last-time-out winners Nazanin, Attagirl and Zain Claudette also feature.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ATTAGIRL
Made all for 4l success at Haydock on second start, looking a useful prospect; interesting
Sky Bet "Jump Jockeys' Nunthorpe" Handicap, 5f
Ever wanted to see what Bryony Frost, Tom Scudamore and Daryl Jacob would ride like in a sprint? Now is the chance as they feature in this quirky handicap at York. Paul Midgley is the trainer to follow here having won this race twice, and had a second, in the last two years. He has four here with Brian Hughes' mount James Watt looking the strongest of the challengers.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: NIBRAS AGAIN
C&D winner who has only just missed out in his last two starts; likely to run his race.
Rowan Scott rode his first Ascot winner when Isla Kai completed a hat-trick here at the start of the month and the pair are given a much more thorough test in this competitive heat. Guru – a neck behind Isla Kai last time – and Latest Generation look progressive while Fantastic Fox has some excellent form. The prolific Marsabit is another one to watch.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: FANTASTIC FOX
Best judged on good third to two very smart types at Newbury in April; key player
Saturday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiples
Veteran sprinter Flying Pursuit won this race in 2017 and 2018 and appears to be heading to York in a good vein of form. His key rivals include stablemates Golden Apollo and Music Society while Giogiobbo seeks a four-timer.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MONDAMMEJ
Good efforts when placed over 6f then 5f the last twice; this may be his best trip
Moet & Chandon International Stakes, 7f
This handicap is always feverishly competitive but the Shadwell team must be confident with leading contenders Motakhayyel, Aldaary and Danyah in the line-up. The lightly raced Dance Fever comes here in winning form while Matthew Flinders was second at Listed level last time out. Discount 2019 winner Raising Sand at your peril as he seeks a remarkable fifth course win.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MATTHEW FLINDERS
Second in Listed race at Chester on the drop to 7f; future mark 10lb higher; respected
Sky Bet York Stakes, 1m2½f, Group 2
No three-year-old has won this race since the inaugural running in 2006, but the rapidly improving Mohaafeth has an outstanding chance of breaking that drought as he looks to make it five from five this season. The Hampton Court Stakes winner takes on the classy Armory, second in last season's Cox Plate, while Juan Elcano is up in grade after his Wolferton Stakes success at Royal Ascot.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MOHAAFETH
Group 3 win at Royal Ascot; Armory a tougher opponent but he's an exciting 3yo
Paul Kealy's Saturday banker at York
3.35 Ascot
King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes, 1m4f, Group 1
Ascot's summer showpiece has a small field deep with quality, no more so than the likely favourite Love. Outstanding at three in the 1,000 Guineas and Oaks, she returned this year in winning fashion in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at the Royal meeting and sets the standard. She takes on surprising yet impressive Derby winner Adayar along with Saudi Cup winner Mishriff, Wonderful Tonight, Lone Eagle and Broome.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ADAYAR
Stayed on strongly to win the Derby at Epsom seven weeks ago; more to offer; big player
