ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the eight races on ITV4 on Saturday

1.30 Aintree
Unibet Proudly Supports "Racing Is Everyone's Sport" Fillies' Juvenile Hurdle, 2m1f, Listed

Gavin Cromwell has plundered this prize twice in the last six years and the Irish trainer has plotted another raid with White Pepper, an easy winner at Galway on her previous appearance. Three other Irish raiders take part but the best of the British could be impressive Leicester winner Lady Pacifico.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: White Pepper

Bolted up at Galway on second hurdle start and that form gives her leading claims today

1.50 Sandown
Close Brothers Henry VIII Novices' Chase, 2m, Grade 1

Third Time Lucki has been a revelation since switching to fences and bids to strike at the top level for the first time following his easy win at Cheltenham last time, and make it back-to-back victories in the race for Dan Skelton. Edwardstone, Il Ridoto and War Lord were all impressive winners last time and provide stern opposition.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Edwardstone

Won well at Warwick last time; major contender on hurdles and chase form

2.05 Aintree
Unibet Many Clouds Chase, 3m1f, Grade 2

Protektorat was a Grade 1 winner at the Merseyside track at the Grand National meeting in April and steps up to this trip for the first time following his respectable second in the Paddy Power Gold Cup. Iconic veterans Native River and dual Grand National hero Tiger Roll make their seasonal returns, while Imperial Aura bids to bounce back from his fall in the Betfair Chase.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Native River

2018 Gold Cup winner who landed this in 2019; strong claims for in-form stable

2.25 Sandown
Betfair Tingle Creek Chase, 2m, Grade 1

Undoubtedly the race of the day, crack two-mile chaser Chacun Pour Soi makes a raid on Sandown to add another Grade 1 to his tally and will be ridden by Patrick Mullins for the first time as his father Willie seeks a second win in the race. Nube Negra finished ahead of Chacun Pour Soi in the Queen Mother Champion Chase last season and takes him on again, while Greaneteen was a top-level winner in the Celebration Chase at this track last term.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Nube Negra

Shade unlucky in the Champion Chase; gained compensation in the Shloer; improving seven-year-old

Unibet Becher Handicap Chase, 3m2f, Grade 3

Mac Tottie bids to complete a rare National fences double as last month's Grand Sefton winner takes on the famous obstacles once more for the Bowen family. However, it is a deeply competitive running which sees the back-to-form Snow Leopardess, dual winner Vieux Lion Rouge and dual placed Kimberlite Candy take him on. Scottish National winner Mighty Thunder is an intriguing candidate too on his first try over the unique fences.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Snow Leopardess

Clearcut win at Bangor (3m, soft) on reappearance; jumped well and should stay 3m2f

3.00 Sandown
Betfair Exchange London National Handicap Chase, 3m5f

Strictlyadancer will attempt to continue his remarkable rise through the ranks with a rapid fourth win on the spin and stake his claims for major Nationals later in the campaign. London Gold Cup winner Larry takes a drop down in class, while Salty Boy was an impressive winner of the Southern National at Fontwell last month.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Salty Boy

Asserted in good style in the Southern National at Fontwell (3m3f, good); back up 5lb

3.15 Aintree
Unibet - 2021 Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year Handicap Hurdle, 2m4f

The unexposed Tamar Bridge is lightly raced for his age having been only seen four times so far, but could be a high-class prospect if he can back up his 13-length victory at Wetherby at the end of October. Midnight River had some classy form as a novice hurdler and returns to the smaller obstacles having fell on his chasing debut, while Pounding Poet was a good second in a similar course-and-distance contest last time.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Tamar Bridge

Has won three of his four races and this opening mark may well underestimate him

3.35 Sandown
Betfair Daily Rewards December Handicap Hurdle, 2m, Listed

Metier's finest moment came at this track when an impressive winner of the Tolworth Hurdle nearly a year ago and returns to this scene on his first start for the campaign following a disappointing outing in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle on his last appearance. Benson won this race last year and has been in good form since, while Hudson De Grugy has not been out of the first two since joining Gary Moore's yard.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Elham Valley

Won juvenile hurdle here 12 months ago, beating Hudson De Grugy; possibilities
