It's time to enjoy what we all love - some proper Saturday jump racing

After a tumultuous week for jump racing there is a very welcome weekend boost as the Saturday action returns to Cheltenham.

Be it racing restructure proposals, a stud farm raid in Ireland, the Tylicki-Gibbons hearing, an 18-month ban for Robbie Dunne or the incoming introduction of Covid passes, an awful lot has happened since the track's November meeting, but there are plenty of links to that fixture on Saturday’s seven-race card.

For starters, the Skeltons will be hoping for a clear round with My Drogo, who dramatically exited a two-runner 2m4f novice chase at the second-last on the Old course here last month. This time he faces three rivals on the New course in what should be a straightforward task. This is racing though, and as evidenced, anything can happen.
