Gerald Mosse, successful on 50-1 Grey Britain at Newmarket on Sunday, will be bidding to make it two wins from two rides in Ireland this year when he partners London Icon in the Listed Coolmore Zoffany Irish EBF Tetrarch Stakes (5.05) at Naas.

The much travelled 51-year-old won on The Broghie Man for Adrian Keatley at Navan last month and will again be teaming up with the Curragh trainer.

Keatley said: "London Icon is in good form and has come on a ton since running second in a handicap over the same course and trip in March. I'm glad to see the ground drying out."

London Icon's rivals include Imaging, runner-up to Gustav Klimt in the 2,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown last month, and the Jessica Harrington-trained Brother Bear.

"Imaging is very well but we don't want to see the ground drying out as he's very effective on easy ground," said trainer Dermot Weld.

Harrington said of Brother Bear: "The ground should be perfect for him. He's a very relaxed horse, which will help him over the trip."

Jarvis on rare foray to Ireland

Mrs Gallagher, winner of a Listed sprint at Bath on her most recent start, will be trainer William Jarvis's first runner in Ireland for ten years when she lines up under Josephine Gordon for the Listed Polonia Stakes (2.45).

Jarvis said: "I thought this was a good race for her. It's five and a half furlongs and she doesn't get a penalty for beating Mabs Cross at Bath.

"They keep saying Mabs Cross should have won that day but I don't know about that. Our filly is smart. She's very quick and the ground drying up will be in her favour."

Mrs Gallagher's 15 rivals include the Joseph O'Brien-trained Now You're Talking, who won a maiden at Dundalk in March having run fourth in both the Queen Mary Stakes and Cheveley Park Stakes last year, and the Aidan O'Brien-trained pair Different League and Actress.

The Ballydoyle trainer said: "We think both fillies have come on since their first runs of the season.

"Actress is dropping back in trip, which should suit, while Different League is fitter than she was on her first run for us at Navan."

Different League was twice placed at Group 1 level last season after winning the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot when trained in France by Matthieu Palussiere.
