'I can't see him getting beat back on his ground and he looks a fair price'
Who do you like in the Group 1 Sun Chariot?
Raceform's Mark Brown I like the look of Saffron Beach, who has form figures at the track of 1122 and comes here following a
career-best effort having readily taken a Sandown Group 3, a race that has worked out really well, in August. She can turn around Guineas form with the tough and thoroughly likeable Mother Earth.
Reporter Chris Cook What a luckless run Champers Elysees got in this race last year – she should have got closer to Nazeef. She ran out of room again in the Matron Stakes last time and perhaps she’s just that kind of horse, but she has the ability to win this and is being overlooked at 16-1. She’s versatile as to ground, which is helpful because the forecast makes it hard to know what the going will be.
Jockey Jim Crowley It’s a competitive race but I think Snow Lantern will be hard to beat. She’s already beaten Mother Earth and finished fourth behind me on Baaeed in the Prix du Moulin last time. She was a bit keen that day and I expect the Rowley Mile to suit her well.
