'He comes into this in the form of his life' - Nick Luck joins the jury

It's Tingle Creek day at Sandown. Who wins the big one?

Phill Anderson, tipster It’s hard to oppose Shishkin with any confidence. He’s not a betting proposition at evens given his well-documented issues but I don’t think Nicky Henderson would be running him if he wasn’t 100 per cent fit.

Paul Binfield, Paddy Power I always think of Imperial Commander when it comes to so-called two-horse races, but with neither of the two big British trainers ducking and diving I think it is between Shishkin and Greaneteen, and at the prices I’ll opt for the latter. Paul Nicholls really fancied Greaneteen at Exeter despite giving lumps of weight away and his race fitness edges it for me.

Oliver Greenall, joint-trainer I think Shishkin will be hard to beat if he’s back to his best. Greaneteen was obviously very impressive at Exeter in the Haldon Gold Cup when carrying top weight and would cash in if Shishkin is not on top form. It’s a fascinating race and what jump racing is all about.
