Golden oldies! Age no barrier for three familiar Saturday stalwarts
It is not just regally bred bluebloods, bidding to follow in the footsteps of their famous fathers and take that first step to starting a dynasty of their own, who will be lighting up the action on Saturday. There is plenty of that noblest of Flat racer, the talented gelding, on show as well.
In Brando, Limato and Magic Circle we have three eight-year-olds bidding for more major prizes who have had the T-shirt so long it has had holes in it longer than some of their rivals have been alive.
Between them they have run 93 times, for 30 wins. They have three Group 1s and a further nine Group races to their name and have amassed more than £2.6 million in prize-money. In short, they are the epitome of the 'horse you would love to own'.
