Gift goes for second win in Sir Gordon Richards Handicap
4.20 Leicester
Sir Gordon Richards Handicap (Class 2) | 1m3f183y, 3yo+ | ATR
William Knight and owners Canisbay Bloodstock will be hoping history repeats itself when Noble Gift attempts to land back-to-back wins in this £30,000 handicap named after 26-time champion jockey Sir Gordon Richards, who won his first race at the track in March 1921.
The six-year-old returns for the near-1m4f handicap off a 1lb higher mark, with Callum Shepherd again on board. However, he will need to turn around recent form with Tawdeea, who finished almost ten lengths in front of him over course and distance last time and is one of two runners for David O'Meara, along with Fattsota.
