George Boughey and Anthony Ennis give their views on the weekend's racing
Tom Collins, Andrew Griffiths and Keith Melrose also have their say
Can Albigna get it done in the Irish 1,000 Guineas?
George Boughey, trainer I think Albigna should take the beating for the ever-in-form Jessica Harrington. She's a beautifully bred Niarchos family filly who seemed to not quite let herself down on firm turf at the Breeders’ Cup. Fancy Blue is the dark horse for Donnacha O’Brien.
Tom Collins, tipster Albigna has the best form in the book by some way and is head and shoulders above these on official ratings, but she is a small filly who can be an awkward ride and I want to oppose her at the prices. Peaceful is the most likely winner for Aidan O’Brien, who has his string firing on all cylinders, while Roca Roma is interesting at bigger odds.
Anthony Ennis, broadcaster She has by far and away the best form and her Prix Marcel Boussac win was very smooth, but we saw last week at Newmarket that being the standout two-year-old isn’t a golden pathway to Classic glory. My instinct is to take her on with one of the others and Peaceful is my idea of the most likely winner.
