Frosted aims for another success at highest level in Woodward
Frosted, the second-highest rated Flat horse in the world this year on Racing Post Ratings, will take his steps towards the Breeders' Cup Classic against eight rivals in the Grade 1 Woodward Stakes at Saratoga tonight under Joel Rosario.
Godolphin's four-year-old son of Tapit recorded an RPR of 130 when winning comfortably by 14 lengths in the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap at Belmont in June - setting a new record time for the race of 1.32.73, and followed up by making all in the Grade 1 Whitney Stakes over tonight's course and distance.
His trainer, Kiaran McLaughlin, said: "He's been doing great at home at Greentree and he's in fabulous form. No issues. He's working great, eating great. We'll see where we are [with his future programme] after he runs on Saturday.
