Francesca Cumani, Jim Crowley and James Tate join the Saturday Jury

Is Ventura Rebel a play or lay in the Super Sprint? Who’s your idea of the winner if it isn’t him?
Francesca Cumani, broadcaster I'm going to take Ventura Rebel on with Emten who I thought ran a huge race to be fifth against the colts in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. She's a big strong filly who should handle the ground and she has a high draw which I like. That can be important at Newbury, especially when it's on the soft side.
Jim Crowley, jockey He's the class act in the race and is the one to beat. He ran very well when just denied in the Norfolk at Royal Ascot – especially as he lost a shoe – and I can't really see past him. Of the others, Never In Paris might run well after clocking a good time at Nottingham on her debut.
James Tate, trainer It pains me to say it given he's such a short-priced favourite in a race like the Super Sprint, but I think he'd have to be a play. On form he is head and shoulders above everything else in the race, he was good in the conditions race at Ascot and then again in the Norfolk. The five furlongs at an easy track like Newbury should really suit him.
