Willie Mullins has been here, there and everywhere and has the T-shirts to prove it, but Wednesday will be a first for the multiple Irish champion trainer as he has his debut runner at Bath. Here are some fun facts to get him acquainted with the city and its racecourse.

Head for heights

Sitting 780m above sea level on the Lansdown Hill, Bath is the highest Flat track in Britain. It is, however, lower than jumps tracks Hexham and Exeter. As for configuration, it is left-handed with a run-in of just under half a mile.

Famous faces

Some of the most famous work of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens were inspired by their time in the city. In music, Tears For Fears were formed in Bath, while Sir Roger Bannister, Jeremy Guscott and winter Olympian Amy Williams, popular comics Russell Howard and Bill Bailey, and Bake Off's Mary Berry are among the residents.
