For obvious reasons this is a race Dermot Weld, who sponsors the event in memory of his parents, would love to win and he is represented by Eziyra as he bids to land the prize for the first time since Theoretically scored in 1999.

Owned by the Aga Khan, Eziyra won a maiden at the Galway festival in July before running Sea Of Grace to a neck in the Group 3 Flame of Tara Stakes over one mile here last month. Hooded for the first time, the daughter of Teofilo is reverting to the trip over which she won her maiden.
