Rajinsky and Future Investment well supported for Old Borough Cup at Haydock
Rajinsky has been backed into 15-2 (from 10) this morning for the Betfair Exchange Old Borough Cup Handicap (2.50) at Haydock.
The consistent four-year-old has finished runner-up on his last three starts, finishing within a length of the winner each time, including at York last time. The favourite is general 7-2 chance Rhythmic Intent.
There has also been support for the Ralph Beckett-trained Future Investment, who has also been backed into 7-1 (from 10) having won by a length and a half from Vindolanda at Chester last time.
A top-quality field of sprinters will then stake their claim to be the best in the division in the Betfair Sprint Cup (3.25). Dream Of Dreams is the general 3-1 favourite, narrowly ahead of 10-3 shot Hello Youmzain, who won this contest from The Tin Man last year.
The going at Haydock remains soft, heavy in places, but there is fresh ground as the track has not been raced on since July.
At Kempton, Enable will face just five rivals in the Unibet September Stakes (2.35) after Tinandali was withdrawn this morning.
The four-year-old was last seen finishing fifth in the Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor for trainer David O'Meara and Jamie Spencer.
Enable is a general 1-8 shot for the Group 3, which connections singled out as an important prep run before she attempts to win a historic third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp next month.
