There seems no end to the supply of three-year-old fillies from the Jessica Harrington stable and, while Pixel Power might not be talked about in the same terms as Alpine Star, Albigna or Cayenne Pepper, she was a skimpy 3-1 shot for a Limerick maiden on her debut when a fast-finishing second and could be better than the form of her last two runs suggests.

Pixel Power was sent off favourite for her next two outings, unsurprising really given how eyecatching she was first time out, but she faded into seventh over six furlongs at Dundalk and was a blatant non-stayer when trying seven furlongs in a Gowran Park maiden on her reappearance this month.

A return to the minimum trip is exactly what the doctor ordered and Harrington will know where she stands with her given the plethora of three-year-old fillies in her Moone stable.

Young County Meath-based trainer Jack Davison unleashed a smart filly to win a maiden at Roscommon on Monday and he will be hoping his hot streak can continue with Too Hard To Hold.

The recently gelded son of Camacho is certainly aptly named as he was notoriously keen through the first half of his races when trained by Mark Johnston and hit lows of 1.5, 1.56 and 2.12 in races in which he was beaten.

Too Hard To Hold looked a reformed character when settling better at Naas on his first start for Davison and, with former champion jockey Colin Keane booked, he ought to be involved at the business end.

Lady Alcazar represents the father-and-son combination of Tom and Rory Cleary and has been getting the hang of things of late. She finished strongly to take fourth at Dundalk when last seen, having been hampered early, but the worry here is that the minimum trip might be on the sharp side.

This intriguing sprint could develop into a match between Pixel Power and Too Hard To Hold and slight preference is for the Davison-trained gelding.

We're hoping he's going to be hard to beat but the ground is starting to worry me. He was very free and keen in his races in England, so the main job we had with him was to get him settled. That's what he did at Naas and he finished off his race lovely, so hopefully that'll leave him spot on for this. I would prefer if it was over six, but it's a stiff five at Navan, so it should be fine.

She had a very good run first time out at Limerick, when she was just touched off. She didn't quite get home after that. I just hope it doesn't rain too much and the ground goes soft on her. She certainly wouldn't want that. She's quick.
