Dark Crystal and Perratt chase hat-tricks

Linda Perratt bids to win this race for the third year in succession after landing the last two runnings with Silver Rime. This time she relies on the improving hat-trick-seeking mare Dark Crystal, who completed a double at Ayr recently and runs here under a 6lb penalty.

Throckley also comes into the race in fine form and appears to be on a fair opening handicap mark after getting the better of an expensive Godolphin-owned horse at Haydock last time. He is unexposed, having made just three starts on the Flat, and could be open to further improvement.
