William Haggas can do little wrong and after a Shergar Cup treble on Saturday has standout claims of bagging this handicap with Tamilla.

Three of Tamilla's relatives produced three-figure Racing Post Ratings at their peak, her sister, Precious Ramotswe, being the best of those. She landed a Group 3 a few years back for John Gosden.

Tamilla looked a handicap blot on the form of her length third to Oaks runner-up Emily Upjohn in a Wolverhampton novice last November, but failed to exploit a mark of 73 when second at Haydock in May.

The distance of a mile and a quarter was the issue there as Tamilla headed the narrow winner after the line and took some time to pull up. The Nathaniel filly made no mistake next time to land a Ffos Las maiden up an extra two furlongs in trip and returns to handicaps off 7lb higher.

Electress is by Galileo and out of Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Just The Judge but is failing to live up to her superb pedigree. She must bounce back after finishing last on her previous two outings, while four-year-old Greek Flame may struggle to concede 10lb in weight-for-age to those from the Classic generation.

It is likely the biggest threat to Tamilla will come from handicap debutante Hexameter from the Roger Varian yard. This trip opens up doors for the daughter of Ulysses and she made an odds-on shot work hard for victory in a fair Windsor novice last time.

What they say

Jamie Osborne, trainer of Crema Inglesa
We're going to the all-weather because she prefers juice in the ground and there's no sign of getting that at the moment. She's ready for another run and I think she'll run her usual solid race. Whether she wins will depend on whether any of the three-year-olds are progressing or well handicapped.

Jim Boyle, trainer of Arenas Del Tiempo
We're hopeful of a solid run but she's not the easiest to win with. We'd like to think she has a squeak.

James Fanshawe, trainer of Greek Flame
She's been very consistent and is going up to a mile and a half, which should suit her. She's been raised for her last run but is in good form.

Charlie Fellowes, trainer of Sous Les Etoiles
She won her novice well two starts ago and then went back to Salisbury, where the ground was very quick; her jockey that day thought she didn't quite let herself down on the ground. We've always felt she'll stay a mile and a half, as she's by Sea The Stars, and felt Kempton would be a good place to try that. I'd hope there is more improvement to come and that she'll be thereabouts.
