Buildmeupbuttercup among a host of good chances for Mullins on undercard
Willie Mullins is well represented in the supporting races on the Galway Plate card with Buildmeupbuttercup a leading player in the 1m4f amateur riders' maiden (6.45).
Patrick Mullins partners the five-year-old mare and has ridden the winner of the race five times, including the last two runnings.
Buildmeupbuttercup last ran at Royal Ascot where she stayed on to finish second in the Ascot Stakes.
Willie Mullins said: "She's dropping down a mile in distance but we don't think that will be a problem. The race conditions suit her well and if she handles the track she'll have a big chance."
Diamond Hill won the amateur riders' maiden last year and returns for the 2m5f maiden hurdle (5.10) following a recent win on the Flat at Bellewstown.
Mullins said: "She's in good form and her experience of the track will help her. The distance shouldn't be a problem."
The versatile Eight And Bob and Scaglietti, who is three from four having won a bumper, a 1m5f maiden and a maiden hurdle, give Mullins a strong hand in the 2m½f handicap (8.30).
Mullins said: "Eight And Bob has done well over hurdles, winning three times and also twice on the Flat. He's in great form, stays well and Colin Keane, who has won on him, is always a good man to have on your side.
"Scaglietti is a really nice type who will go on the good ground. It's her first run in a handicap but she has the ability to go very well."
