Brian Meehan is hoping to plunder prize-money in Bordeaux on Tuesday when Moi Moi Moi bids to claim a contest won by Saturday's Champion Stakes favourite Almanzor 12 months ago.

The Listed Grand Criterium de Bordeaux over a little shy of a mile pits Moi Moi Moi, a two-year-old son of Acclamation who got off the mark at the fourth time of asking at Redcar most recently, against four French-trained rivals.

For Meehan, a win would be his first in France since Arcano landed the Prix Morny at Deauville in 2009, and the trainer believes Moi Moi Moi can make a bold bid in the €65,000 contest.
