All the latest news on a huge day in Britain and Ireland
Don't blink! The fastest horse in Europe makes his reappearance at Haydock this afternoon.
Champion five-furlong sprinter Battaash has his first run since that memorable Prix de l'Abbaye victory last autumn, in the Group 2 Armstrong Aggregates Temple Stakes at Haydock (4.00).
But the day's only Group 1 race is the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh, where Newmarket fourth Elarqam and sixth Gustav Klimt renew rivalry in a race that Aidan O'Brien has won in seven of the last ten years.
There is also racing at Cartmel, Chester, Goodwood and York in the afternoon, with evening action at Ffos Las and Salisbury.
