All systems go on Saturday as Market Rasen passes morning inspection
Racing goes ahead at Market Rasen this afternoon after the track passed a morning inspection.
Track officials called the inspection on Friday ahead of forecast wintery showers and freezing temperatures but the track is raceable this morning and the going is heavy.
The news will come as relief to Willie Mullins, who has sent Grangee from Ireland to contest the Listed mares' bumper (3.15) where she will clash with the promising Pam Sly-trained Eileendover.
With Market Rasen going ahead, ITV4's action today remains intact, with seven live races coming from the Lincolnshire venue and from Warwick, where the Classic Chase (3.00) is the feature.
