For Irish-trained Grand National hopefuls who will not be journeying to Cheltenham next month, Saturday at Fairyhouse feels very much like the final stop before the bright lights of Liverpool in April.

Not since Hedgehunter in 2005 has any horse pulled off the Bobbyjo Chase-Grand National double, but that doesn't mean we haven't been treated to some quality Aintree clues here through the years.

Three of the last 11 horses to have finished second in the world's most famous race prepared by heading to Fairyhouse for this Grade 3 named in honour of the 1999 National hero.
