It’s a huge day for fans of top-class two-year-olds with Newmarket’s seven-race card opening with three prestigious juvenile Group events.

It’s also a huge day for Aidan O’Brien, who once again launches his heavyweights at a meeting at which he has had stunning results over the years.

The Ballydoyle maestro is two-handed in the Group 1 Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes (3.00) with Blackbeard, winner of five of his seven starts, and The Antarctic, who finished a two-length third behind his stablemate in the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville last time.
